Customer Service Representative (Intake & Document QA Specialist) Needed in Westlake Village
Pay Range: $25-$28 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service Representative to support patient intake and documentation quality assurance within a growing healthcare services organization focused on sleep therapy solutions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients receive timely, accurate access to medically necessary equipment by managing referrals, verifying documentation, and coordinating with providers and insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage patient intake process for CPAP therapy, including reviewing referrals, prescriptions, and supporting documentation
* Perform thorough document quality assurance to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with payer requirements
* Communicate with physician offices, patients, and insurance providers to obtain missing or corrected information
* Verify insurance eligibility and assist in coordinating authorization requirements
* Maintain organized and accurate digital patient files using internal systems and Adobe Acrobat
* Troubleshoot issues in documentation workflows and proactively resolve delays
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth patient onboarding and timely order processing
Required Qualifications
* 1-3+ years of experience in healthcare administration, DME, or medical office environment
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and missing information
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat (editing, merging, QA)
* Ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with CPAP, sleep therapy, or durable medical equipment
* Familiarity with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or referrals
* Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment
